In 1985, a set of 40 VFL stickers was issued on the back of Prima fruit juice boxes. The set was divided into two groups: 20 blue-background stickers featuring head-and-shoulders player caricatures, and 20 green-background stickers showing players in action.
Each sticker is identified by the caption printed on the front. A rarely-seen companion poster was also released, via mail order, with spaces for all 40 stickers. The green-background sticker captions doubled as answers to trivia questions printed on the poster, making the poster an important and scarce part of the complete set.
