A stunning Fleer throwback card which formed the Decade of Excellence insert set of the 1997-98 NBA Fleer series. The Decade of Dominance was initially released across different Fleer products in 1996-97 with a stylized version of the classic Jordan rookie card.
However, in 1997-98 Fleer released a single set featuring 12 different players. The set showcases players that have been in the NBA for 10 or more years using photos from the 1987-88 season and graphic design showcasing the 1987-88 Fleer basketball design. (There is also a rarer TRADITIONS parallel, which features holofoil.)
This Michael Jordan card in the set far surpasses the others and is often highly-sought after but rarely available.
